From your first steps into higher education through to graduation and beyond, our Higher Education (HE) Skills & Employability Team are here to support you in developing your employability and preparing for graduate-level opportunities. 

How we can support you 

Whether you’re looking for your first placement, preparing for an interview or thinking about what comes after university, we offer a range of support tailored to your needs, including:

  • Placement support

  • Internship opportunities  
  • Postgraduate study guidance  
  • Careers fairs, guest speakers, workshops and masterclasses  

We also provide a range of resources to help you build your employability skills, including CV templates, postgraduate study guides and information about the TEC Partnership Graduate Award. 

Support from day one to graduation and beyond 

Our support doesn’t stop when you graduate. As a member of our Alumni community, you’ll have access to exclusive alumni activities, events and guest speaker opportunities, helping you continue to develop your professional network and career.

You can find us in the HE Learning Centre, ground floor, during our daily drop-in sessions: 

Monday–Friday | 12pm–1pm 
Term time only 

No appointment is needed, just drop in and chat to the team.
