Creativity Celebrated at University Centre Grimsby End of Year Exhibition

Students from University Centre Grimsby showcased their creativity, talent and hard work at this year’s End of Year Exhibition VIP launch evening.

The exhibition, organised by creative students and their tutors, featured a wide range of final projects from higher education courses across the creative arts. Guests had the opportunity to explore displays including special effects (SFX), photography, illustration, art and design, alongside other creative disciplines.

Family, friends, industry professionals and invited guests attended the VIP evening to celebrate the achievements of students and view the impressive body of work produced throughout the academic year. The exhibition highlighted the passion, technical skill and originality demonstrated by students across the creative programmes.

Libbie-Jade Lewsam, Special Effects Makeup and Prosthetics Design student, shared:

“Being able to host an exhibition at the university is a really great opportunity. It means we get to showcase our artwork, not only to our friends and family, but also to industry professionals who have been invited to the event.”

Richard Moore, Deputy Principal for Higher Education at University Centre Grimsby, said: “The standard of work on display this year has been exceptional. Our students continue to impress us with their creativity, dedication and professionalism, and this exhibition is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their achievements. We are incredibly proud of the talent we have here at University Centre Grimsby and the hard work shown by both students and staff throughout the year.”

The End of Year Exhibition forms an important part of the student experience, giving students the opportunity to present their work to the public, gain valuable industry exposure, and celebrate the successful completion of their studies.
