T-Levels

A T Level is a nationally recognised qualification that is worth the same number of UCAS points as 3 A levels.

The two-year qualification brings the classroom and work placement together, on a course designed in collaboration with the best employers.

The industry-focused pathways available are: Education & Childcare, Digital Production, Design & Development, Health, Fabrication & Welding, Light & Electric Vehicles, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Bricklaying and Carpentry & Joinery.

Your T Level will help you to step straight into your chosen career, apprenticeship or degree.

You’ll spend 80% of the time in the classroom and 20% of the time on a 45-day placement to equip you with the knowledge and skills companies are looking for.

Careers 6Career 6 pathways specialise in programmes of study over a range of industries, all of which have been put together with your future career in mind.

Our unique pathways offer clear progression into higher studies at university.

We have used the latest careers information to select the right blend of qualifications to give you the best opportunity to be ready for the next level of study as well as gain valuable work and industrial experience in your chosen pathway.

Our two-year study programmes also include tutorials, project work, enrichment sessions, leadership tasks, career-focused visits and trips as well as work experience.

In the second year, students take an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), to support their progression into higher education. For all pathways, students must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Level 4 (C) or above including English Language and Mathematics.

In addition to these subjects, there will also be project work, tutorials, enrichment sessions, leadership tasks, visits and trips as well as work experience. In the second year, all students will take an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) to help support progression to higher education,

Remember these combinations of subjects don’t just lead to careers in the group areas, for example, the Teaching Academy enables you to gain the qualifications that can lead to being a lawyer.
