“The masterclass will be an opportunity for people to see behind the scenes secrets from screen and stage,” says Hayley Young, programme leader.
The UCG offer a wide range of degrees, with an increase this year in people applying to study for a higher education qualification within their local area.
The benefits of studying for a degree on your doorstep include lower course fees and the opportunity to live at home, which means you save on accommodate fees.
The day will close with a structured Q&A with the lecturers and support staff, many of whom have worked in film, television and theatre.
Hayley adds, “this is an opportunity to get answers to enquiries you may have about the special effects make-up and design; and prosthetics degrees or any queries directly about starting a career within this industry.”
