Our Libraries

Library Services

There are two libraries at the Nuns Corner Campus: the Higher Education Library in the University Centre, and the Further Education Library on the first floor of D-Block. Both offer a wide range of facilities, resources and services including individual and group study areas with computers and laptops for you to use, printers and print credit loaders and a book collection of more than 50,000 books!

Mindfulness rooms, where you can enjoy a moment of peace and calm, are situated in each library.

Opening Times

It is staffed Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

The FE Library Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

Your Library Account

Your account is automatically created upon enrolment, and your student ID card will serve as your library card. You may borrow up to ten books at any one time, and you can renew and reserve via our online library catalogue or MyCirca app; just ask for details!

Online Resources

Accessed via Office 365, our Canvas pages provide unlimited access to our online resources, all of which are academic in content and come from creditable and reliable sources.

These consist of academic journals, eBooks, a video library, British Standards, research papers and vocational course support. We have created an online resources induction course to help you get the most out of this service, including help guides, which you can find below.
