Seafood Chef of the Year – Junior Competition

If you are in year 9 or 10 and have a flair for cooking, enter our amazing cookery competition

Produce a short video of you preparing a seafood-based meal for two, costing less than £10 per person. Send your name, age and school with your film to: [email protected]

You could be in with a chance to win a £100 voucher and you and your parents will be invited to dine at the National Seafood Competition final on Friday 7th June 2024, where you will have the chance to meet Michelin-star chefs.

Closing date 26th April 2024 Finals will take place on 17th May 2024

Competition Terms and Conditions

Please read these competition rules carefully. If you enter our competition, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them

1. To enter a competition, you must be in Year 9 or 10 at school at the time of entry.
2. Only one entry per person.
3. The cost of the meal cannot exceed £10 per head.
4. If you want to enter a competition you must ensure that your email contains your Full Name, school, age and email address.
5. The winner will be the entrant who fulfils the task/s given in the competition judged by independent judges.
6. The closing date is 26th April 2024 and the TEC Partnership reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
7. If you win a competition, we will notify you by email.
8. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. By entering the competition you are agreeing to participate in such promotional activity and material as TEC Partnership may require, including social media.
10. The panel of judges for each competition will be comprised of independent recognised Chefs.
11. The prize will not be transferable to another person.
12. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
13. If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
14. TEC Partnership reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.
