Applying for Degree Level Courses

Applying to the University Centre Grimsby (UCG) couldn’t be easier, you can apply via UCAS or direct to UCG, depending on your application type. If you are applying only to the University Centre Grimsby you are able to apply direct. If you are applying to more than one university then please apply via UCAS.

All applications for full-time undergraduate level study should be made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). To apply to University Centre Grimsby, search via our TEC Partnership page on UCAS.

Our provider name and code is GRIMC and G80. Alternatively, you can search “TEC Partnership” and all our courses will be listed. Direct UCAS links can also be found on each programme’s web page.

Apply direct to UCG

Applications for the below programmes can be made direct to the University Centre Grimsby:

• Part-time study programmes
• Online programmes
• Teacher Training programmes
• or if you are applying direct to UCG and no other provider.

When to Apply

Applications open 1 September 2026. The official closing date for applications is 14 January 2027. University Centre Grimsby, however, will consider applications made after this closing date, subject to places being available on your chosen course(s).

Mature Student Applications

University Centre Grimsby welcomes applications from mature students of all backgrounds.

Access to Higher Education Courses 

Access to Higher Education (HE) courses are not applied for via UCAS.
