About This Course
Our FdSc Digital and Technology Solutions degree has been aligned with the occupational standard for Software Developer and approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE). Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) have been approved as meeting occupational standards for the relevant sector.
This programme will enable you to pursue a variety of careers in the digital technology industry. FdSc Digital & Technology Solutions will equip you with the skills you need to design and develop technological solutions to a broad range of ever-evolving problems. This includes the ability to manage and maintain large sets of data, as well as the management of advanced data analytics, which rely on the application of artificial intelligence, and the fundamental digital skills required by employers (both now and in the future). The development and continued success of business is increasingly based on its ability to harness digital and technology solutions to develop and market new products and services, increase productivity and workflow, minimise costs, and protect itself from threats from various forms of cybercrime.
To achieve the HTQ status both level 4 and level 5 pathways must be completed.
