About This Course
This course will allow you to progress on to careers in cyber security, IT, network and software development.
BSc (Hons) Digital Technology Solutions (Data Analytics) allows you to develop a thorough knowledge of data analysis. You will be given the opportunity to work on independent data related development projects and create a full, industry relevant portfolio, using technologies such as GITHUB as well as practical evidence of data related dashboards and the support of organisations using data and information.
Students undertaking the data analytics pathway will focus the final year of their programme on the collection, manipulation and application of large-scale data for the purpose of making short- and long-term decisions within organisations, as well as influencing organisation and strategic decision making processes. The use of data for decision making has dramatically increased across a range of industries, particularly within retail and the sports industries, and therefore a key understanding of how data is manipulated and transformed is vital.
