Applying for a course at the University Centre Grimsby

All applications for full-time undergraduate level study should be made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service).

Full time applications:

All applications for full-time undergraduate level study should be made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service).

To apply to University Centre Grimsby, search on the UCAS website. Our provider name and code is GRIMC and G80.

When to Apply

Applications for September (or deferred entry) have now opened with UCAS. The official closing date for applications is 15th January. University Centre Grimsby, however, will consider applications made after this closing date, subject to places being available on your chosen course(s).

Mature Student Applications

University Centre Grimsby welcomes applications from mature students of all backgrounds.

Access to Higher Education Courses

Access to Higher Education (HE) courses are not applied for via UCAS. To apply for an Access course please contact the Higher Education Admissions & Administration Office: 0800 328 3631. Alternatively email headmissions@grimsby.ac.uk

International Student Applications

University Centre Grimsby welcomes applications from international students. We have a number of courses suitable for students from abroad. To view these courses, and for information on visas and the application process, please visit our International homepage.

Part time applications

If you are interested in our part time higher education courses, you can apply directly to the University Centre Grimsby by completing and returning a part-time application form part-time application form click here.

Teacher Training

Key Dates

15 January

This is the deadline for applications to be made to UCAS. Your application must be completed and submitted by 6pm.

25 February

UCAS Extra opens. This is for applicants who have not received any offers to apply for further courses and still have their applications considered.

4 May

You must reply to any offers made by universities by this date providing your offers were given by 31 March. If you do not have an offer by this date, your application will automatically be declined by UCAS on 5 May.
