Applying For a Room

The halls of residence are managed by the accommodation officer, which is over seen by the estates department. Working within the estates department gives the accommodation officer direct access to various outlets as regards to efficient management of the accommodation.
There is also a close relationship with learner services and student support to provide a complete service for all students within the halls of residence.

Applications for 2017/18 are still open!

Full-time Students

The license period for the full academic year 2017-2018 will be for a standard 39 weeks. This allows you to arrive from the start of term to enjoy Freshers’ Week, up until the end of term for final exams and assessments. However, this does exclude the Christmas Break, the campus generally closes for two weeks over this period.

Both prospective students and returning students may apply for a place within our Halls of Residence.

Short-stay

If you have been successfully accepted onto a course at the Grimsby Institute you can make an application for short stay within the Halls of Residence. This can be any length of time from two weeks to a few months. Please contact the Accommodation Team for a further information or to book a stay with us.
