Travel and Tourism

About This Course

The Travel and Tourism course gives you the chance to travel and see the world whilst you work! It is true that the travelling starts here on the course with an opportunity to go on a residential trip plus day trips to places like London, York Dungeons and the Manchester Trafford Centre. You’ll get to learn about the industry, covering everything from customer service, marketing and event planning to leisure and tourism. The classroom has a real aeroplane interior that you get to use to carry out full flight procedures, from serving from the trolley to the safety drill, equipped with all the gear that a usual demonstration would have. There’s also a travel agent’s desk so you can get a real feel for what it’s like to work in the travel and tourism business. You get to train as if you’re already in the job. The world really is your oyster!
