Public Services
The key areas of the main programme you focus on in this area are teamwork, leadership and community engagement, as these are the skills needed to work effectively with other people in any job role. During this course, you will get some excellent work experience opportunities so you can see what it’s like to be a member of the uniformed services. Some of these work experience situations involve placements in local youth organisations, schools and events with the RAF, Royal Marines and the Army. You’ll even get the opportunity to go on course trips to places like Humberside Fire and Rescue, the Houses of Parliament and Nottingham Courts of Justice.
