About This Course

The Engineering course is a combination of theory and practical, with all sorts of interesting equipment for you to get your hands on. The first year includes modules in multiskilled engineering, teaching a variety of skills which helps you and your tutors decide whether electrical or mechanical engineering would suit you best. Your subjects will typically include engineering, maths, science, machining, fitting and maintenance. Work placements will be arranged to get a taste of what it’s like to work in engineering. Our tutors are a diverse team of highly-qualified, industry-trained engineers who have excellent specialisms in covering all industry-relevant areas of modern-day engineering. The future of the engineering industry is exciting, and you could be part of it!
