Higher Education Placement, the role of the employer
During the period while students are on placement, each student will be visited once per academic year, unless there are issues that need re-addressing or your course has block placements.
The Role of The Employer
- To contribute to undergraduate learning so as to produce graduates with the knowledge and skills which are of value to the employer.
- To enhance the links between the Institute and employers to the potential benefit of both.
- To provide a placement opportunity for an individual who will contribute to the effectiveness of the organisation
Visit Information For Employers:
During the period while students are on placement, each student will be visited once per academic year. During these visits the tutor will want to spend about 20/30 minutes talking with you and the student about aims and development.
