The photography industry is always on the lookout for fresh new talent and this course will teach you everything you need to know to be a professional photographer. Past learners have even started their own freelance companies and successful businesses.
You’ll study lots of different aspects of photography on this course, including its history and how to work in a darkroom. You’ll also learn how to produce powerful images, developing your understanding of visual communication.
The darkroom process is so cool, you’ll be able to take a picture and process it from start to finish. You can make your projects whatever you want them to be, from studios to shooting on location, you’ll also learn Photoshop skills ensuring that your work is the best it can be!

Work experience placements will be available at the following organisations, North East Lincolnshire Council, Young photographer of the year and various other local businesses and media outlets.
During your time on the Photography course, you will have the opportunity to visit a host of exciting venues including a Harry Potter studio. There will also be a chance to hear from a variety of speakers from the creative media industry allowing you to gather first-hand knowledge of your future career path.
