Grimsby Institute Accommodation Eligibility Criteria

The halls of residence are managed by the accommodation officer, which is over seen by the estates department. Working within the estates department gives the accommodation officer direct access to various outlets as regards to efficient management of the accommodation.
There is also a close relationship with learner services and student support to provide a complete service for all students within the halls of residence.

Am I eligible For Halls of Residence?

Places in our Halls of Residence are available for those individuals who are due to enrol on an academic course and require accommodation. The Halls are not just reserved for 1st year students of the University Centre Grimsby, but are available to students for the entire duration of their study.

All residents must be at least 18 years of age at the commencement of their licence agreement.

When applying for a place in accommodation, you must be able to financially commit to a place in halls of residence by paying a £250.00 booking fee that will become your refundable deposit on inception of an accommodation contract.

Individuals can apply for a place in accommodation whether they live locally, nationally, or internationally.

Priority will be assigned to those individuals with the greatest accommodation requirements.

If you would like to apply for a place in accommodation for the 2015 - 2016 academic year, or would like further information regarding the application process for our accommodation, please contact the Accommodation Team.
