Want to design the latest app that gets everyone talking? Maybe web design and development is your passion? Whether it is e-commerce, digital animation, cyber security or 3D modelling, our specially designed courses could be your first step into that world. With annual trips to London Comic Con, and guest speakers from Ardman Animations, GCHQ, Sony and Microsoft our courses offer you a unique insight into the industry.

Our computing courses are project based so you will be hands on from day one and will get to experience real work environments on placements tailored to your skills.

What Next?

UCAS points are available upon completion of the Level 3 course. If you want to stay local, you could choose to study at University Centre Grimsby. Head down the computing route with a BSc (Hons) Computing Technologies, or if gaming is more your thing you can study for a BA (Hons) Games Design and Development which has seen games created by students launched by major software companies. Universities across the UK offer a wide range of courses in varying computer disciplines that can lead to a career in this fast paced, ever-changing industry.

Courses are project based and may include networking and computer systems, database creation, project management, 3D modelling, games design, app development, e-commerce, web design and development, the online world, digital animation and graphics.
These units will be assessed as a combined set of projects linking to job roles in the IT industry. Learners will all have the opportunity to take part in work experience.
