Building Studies encompasses the professional side of the Construction Industry. You will study the technology of buildings, surveying in the field, sustainable construction, property law and building regulations which will include Science and Maths. There is also the option to study Computer Aided Design (CAD) as well as structural mechanics and building regulations and control.
Work experience with external companies and organisations is available and could see you doing practical tasks such as surveying and working on construction sites.
